Ember Muninn Art

Ember Muninn (they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist, instructor and event creator of settler descent living in the lands of the Stó꞉lō Nation.

In 2011, they earned their BFA from Emily Carr University and have pursued a career in the arts ever since. They have shown their work in numerous group shows around BC, with a solo show in 2024 at Slice of Life Gallery, Vancouver. Ember has also worked behind the scenes as the Gallery Coordinator for the Kariton Art Gallery and as the Creative Director of Snag in the Valley. In 2023 they were awarded the Arty Award for Arts Advocate of the Year for their passion creating events that foster community and support local artists.

They currently maintain their practice in their home studio, carving out space for exploration amongst daily life.
